Creative Works of Lancaster will present "Awkward Date Stories" on Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15, at Modern Art, 529 W. Chestnut St., Lancaster. Doors will open at 7 p.m. to begin seating guests and serving beverages. Two complimentary beverages are available with each ticket.
Conceptualized by local artist Chris Silansky, "Awkward Date Stories" brings Lancaster's true, awkward, outrageous, funny, and bizarre date stories to life. After reading stories submitted through an online form, writers adapted several into a series of short performances that will be presented in a cafe-style setting.
For this show, two ticket options will be available. The Full Experience option will feature being seated with a stranger and encouraged to interact and reflect on the show. The Wallflower Experience will allow attendees to watch from the sidelines. More details can be found on the ticket registration page.
Tickets are available by visiting http://www.creativelancaster.org. Reservations are encouraged as seating is limited. Creative Works utilizes a pay what you decide ticketing model. Patrons reserve tickets in advance and pay what they think the experience was worth after the show.
