Ballroom dance classes are being offered as a fundraiser for Cavod Academy of the Arts, a nonprofit organization, to facilitate its programs. The six-week ballroom dance course with teacher Rebecca Gentry from City Ballroom will be held on Fridays, Sept. 20 and 27 and Oct. 4, 11, 18, and 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cavod Academy, 665 W. Main St., New Holland.
During the class, participants will learn the technique of ballroom dance. At the end of the six weeks, there will be a ball for the couples to perform their new skills. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided. Space is limited, and there is a fee per couple. For more information and to sign up, readers may visit https://cavod.org/events/ballroom-dance-fundraiser/.
