West York BARk (Boro Animal Response krew) has announced its first two fundraising events for 2019. More information can be found at http://www.westyorkbark.org.
The first fundraiser will be a Wiggle and Wags Designer Bag Bingo event at Dover Community Center, 3700 Davidsburg Road, Dover, on Thursday, May 2. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with bingo starting at 6:30 p.m. An advance ticket price has been set, with a higher price at the door and a spaghetti dinner available at an additional price. A BARk-BQ and Paws Adoption event will be held on Saturday, June 1, at BARk Headquarters, 1700 W. Philadelphia St., York, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a preorder-only event, with a set price per dinner and all proceeds benefiting Vets and Pets. The menu will include pulled pork, applesauce, coleslaw, a baked potato, a roll, butter and water. There will also be puppies on-site for adoption through Blinddog Alliance.
