Bell Socialization Services will present Bell's Big Bed Race on Sunday, Aug. 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. Teams of five - four pushers and one rider - will build and decorate race-worthy beds and race against other teams in one-on-one heats with spectators cheering them on.
The event will take place at Penn Park, 100 W. College Ave., York, and will kick off with the Parade of Beds. Racing will begin immediately after the parade and will run until about 4 p.m., concluding with the awards presentation.
