Jeanette Biesecker will step down after 16 years of ministry at Joy El. Biesecker concluded her time of ministry on Aug. 21.
Biesecker began as a part-time employee but soon gained more responsibility. She was eventually promoted to the senior leadership team, serving as the director of ministry advancement.
Biesecker said that one of her significant memories is the first time she led a Joy El Jubilee, which is when Joy El is open to the public for activities, food and experiencing all the camp has to offer. It is Joy El's largest single-day event, often hosting more than 1,800 guests.
