Billow To Share During Service

Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, located at the corner of New Haven and Donegal streets, Mount Joy, will host Harold Billow during its service on Sunday, Nov. 10, in honor of Veterans Day. The service will begin at 10:15 a.m., and the public is welcome.

Billow is known to be the last living survivor of the Malmedy Massacre during World War II. On Dec. 17, 1944, 84 American prisoners of war were killed by their German captors, members of Kampfgruppe Peiper, a German combat unit, near Malmedy, Belgium, during the Battle of the Bulge. Billow will share his account of the event.
