Book Discussion Planned

The Exploring, Growing Together forum learning series will continue with a discussion of the book "Sold on a Monday" starting Thursday, March 4, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the lower level of Lititz United Methodist Church, 201 Market St., Lititz, in Room 103. Discussion will continue on the following Thursdays, March 11 and 18. Due to the pandemic, Zoom sessions will be available for all meetings.

Each person should acquire his or her own copy of the book. Discussion will focus on chapters one through 14 in the first week, chapters 15 through 29 in the second week, and chapters 30 through 43 in the third week. Discussion will be guided by provided questions. Shanna Boley will lead.

For more information, readers may contact Boley at free2swim1978@yahoo.com.

Attendees may bring a bag lunch and a beverage. No food or beverages may be shared due to the pandemic, and no beverages are available in the lobby or water fountains in the building at this time. Restrooms across from the meeting room will be available to use.

COVID-19 guidelines must be followed for those who participate in person. Readers may contact Linda at 717-626-0745 or raven303@ptd.net for a copy of these guidelines.

Masks must be worn inside the building, and no lingering in the hallways or lobby area will be permitted. Only eight people may physically enter the building to participate, so registration is required.

Due to the possibility of changes, those who plan to attend either in person or via Zoom are advised to confirm with Linda before the program.

The series' goal is to offer a safe learning environment in which to discuss and explore topics and beliefs. Flyers for the series may be obtained from Linda at the aforementioned email address. Readers may contact Linda with questions or suggestions for books and leaders.
