The New Holland Borough Authority took time at its meeting on July 20 to recognize Cletus H. Stone, who recently retired from being the borough's water department supervisor. He worked for the borough 47 years, the past 25 as department supervisor.
In honor of Stone's years of service to the borough, his name will be given to the new well structure being built by the Authority in an area of Groff Park. The structure is scheduled to be completed this fall.
The Authority also noted Stone's recent receipt of formal recognition of his service to the borough from the Pennsylvania State Senate with sponsorship by state Sen. Ryan P. Aument.
