St. James Lutheran Church in York held its Breakfast Blessings free meal program for the first time since March on July 4. The takeout-style meal, which takes place on the first Saturday of each month, consisted of eggs, sausage, pancakes, and juice, along with a la carte items.
Weis Markets located on Roosevelt Avenue in York supplied the eggs, pancakes, milk, syrup, granola bars, and takeout bags. Weis Markets has partnered with the program for three years.
