Children and their families are invited to a free Breakfast With Santa event on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 50 N. Main St., Manheim. Following a pancake breakfast, the children will meet Santa, who will hand out goodie bags and will be available for photos. Free parking is available in the back of the church, and the church is handicapped-accessible.
A Children's Winter Giveaway will be held during the breakfast for all children in Manheim who are in need and wish to replenish their school supplies and winter wear. Hats, gloves, scarves, and mittens as well as notebook paper, pens, pencils, crayons and more will be available.
Other upcoming Christmas events include "Angels of Christmas," a Christmas cantata performed by St. Paul's Chancel Choir and Orchestra, on Sunday, Dec, 22, at 9:30 a.m. A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 24, at 7 p.m.
