Spring Gulch RV Campground, 475 Lynch Road, New Holland, celebrated its annual First Responders Weekend during the weekend of Sept. 7 and 8. The campground has hosted First Responders Weekend for more than 20 years.
Spring Gulch RV Campground holds the celebration as a way to give back to local first responders. The campground estimates there were nearly 100 first responders and family members taking part in the weekend's festivities.
In addition to showing appreciation to local first responders, the event gave campers a chance to learn more about what first responders do. Children were able to explore a fire truck visit and even use the fire hose.
