The Pennsylvania State Police Troop J, Lancaster, in conjunction with the Quarryville Police Department, will host a free car seat check event on Tuesday, Nov. 24. The event will take place at the police department, 300 Saint Catherine St., Quarryville, from 4 to 6 p.m.
The event is open to the public, and appointments are preferred. Certified technicians will be available to explain how to correctly install the child seat, correct any errors in the installation, and provide information on best practices when it comes to installation and use of the car seat.
