Capital Area Transit (CAT) has announced that the former plan known as CAT 2020 was put on hold in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but is now being reimagined and has been renamed CAT 2021. The CAT 2021 service redesign aims to provide efficient and effective public transportation in Dauphin County and portions of Cumberland County.
Public and rider input is fundamental to the CAT service redesign and route adjustment process. The public comment period gives the public a chance to participate and provide feedback to help update the CAT service routes.
The public comment period will last until Sunday, June 13. No in-person public meetings will be held, but those wishing to provide feedback may visit http://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CATSEPT7.
For more details, contact CAT at info@cattransit.com. The public may also follow the process by visiting http://www.cattransit.com/cat2021/.
