CC To Host Open Houses

Classical Conversations' Elizabethtown community will host open houses on Tuesday, Feb. 11, for children age 4 through grade six. Parents and children are welcome to attend to experience Classical Conversations (CC) for a day.

CC Elizabethtown, which meets at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 398 N. Locust St., Elizabethtown, currently offers programs for children age 4 through sixth grade, including an intensive writing and grammar seminar for students ages 9 to 12 that utilizes the Institute for Excellence in Writing curriculum.

All who are interested in more information about Classical Conversations should attend an information session to learn more about the program before attending an open house. Classical Conversations is a worldwide classical, Christian homeschool organization that seeks to equip parents and students to use the classical tools of learning to hone students' academic skills of recitation, logical thinking, and persuasive rhetoric. Trained tutors lead weekly classes in memorization and review, hands-on fine arts, hands-on science, and student presentations.
