The Chester County Community Foundation (CCCF) has announced that it recently awarded $2.5 million in grants and scholarships.
Two hundred scholarships totaling $300,000 were awarded to students from various high schools, technical schools, and colleges within Chester County. CCCF seeks to build strong minds and ensure a bright future for Chester County by connecting donors with scholarship applicants. Scholarships awarded by CCCF are funded by donors who are advisers for charitable funds held in trust at CCCF. Scholarships are based on criteria set out by the donor.
CCCF has more than 400 charitable funds held in trust. More than 95% of grants awarded by CCCF are made through donors who hold funds with CCCF. These donors offer financial support in one or more of the following fields: capacity building, capital and endowment, general operating, or environmental causes.
