Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer two events in late June. Programs are open to the public, but preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number. Attendees should meet at the Environmental Center.
Summer Story Forest will be offered on Friday, June 25. The outdoor story time and activity for children up to age 10 will begin at 10:30 a.m. A fee applies.
Golden Eagle Hikers will host a hike of 2 to 3 miles for hikers over age 50 at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 27. The hike will include terrain that is rocky and hilly.
