Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer three special events to the public. Preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number.
A Full Moon Hike will step off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, and no flashlights will be used. A Mushroom Appreciation Hike will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, and hikers will learn to identify mushrooms. A fast-paced Fitness Hike will be offered at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15.
