Stewartstown Senior Center, 26 S. Main St., Stewartstown, will host a program with Kim Walston from the York County Planning Commissioner's Office on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. She will present the York County Home Improvement Program and the York County Weatherization Program.
The York County Home Improvement Program is designed to help income-eligible resident homeowners in York County, outside of the City of York, by providing financial and technical assistance for necessary home repairs including, but not limited to roofing, heating, major electric, major plumbing, septic systems, and water/sewer hookups, as well as senior-safe/ADA modifications to the home, to allow for better accessibility.
The York County Weatherization Program is seeking income-eligible households to participate. This program is designed to reduce utility costs for low-income families throughout York County.
