Governor Dick Environmental Center, 3283 Pinch Road, Mount Gretna, will offer two special hikes to the public. Preregistration is required by contacting 717-964-3808 or governordick@hotmail.com and providing a name and phone number. Attendees should meet at the Environmental Center.
A Family Night Hike will step off at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. Group size is limited.
On Sunday, Oct. 27, the Golden Eagle Hikers will lead a 2- to 3-mile hike at 1:30 p.m. for individuals over age 50. The hike will be taken at a gentle pace, but there will be rocks and hills.
