Mount Gretna Supper Club will feature a catered dinner by Chef on the Go and live music in the Hall of Philosophy at 5:30 p.m. Attendees may bring their own beverage. Registration is required one week prior to the event. The Amy Banks Trio will perform at the Tuesday, July 26, event, and Seasons, a trio of Celtic and Americana musicians, will perform on Monday, Aug. 29.
Chautauqua University for a Day will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 9. Morning blueberry buckle and a catered lunch are included in the fee. The programs will include "Honey Bees and Beekeeping - The Basics," "Making Sense of Putin's Russia," and "Hinduism in America."
Crafts and Cuisine will offer a variety of programs that begin at 6 p.m. in the Hall of Philosophy. Topics include "Eating to Avoid Inflammation" on Thursday, July 7; "Fused Glass" on Monday, Aug. 1; and "Felted Pumpkins" on Wednesday, Aug. 31.
A "Bogart Bonanza" Film Series will be hosted by Ted Martin. Popcorn will be provided. The movies will be held on Wednesdays, July 6 to 27, at 7 p.m. and will feature "The Maltese Falcon," "To Have and Have Not," "We're No Angels," and "The African Queen," respectively.
"Exploring the Collaboration of Composer, Singer, and Pianist: The Music of Gershwin" will be presented by Alison Mekeel, soprano, and Debra Ronning, piano. The event will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, at the Mount Gretna Playhouse.
A religious discussion series will be offered on Thursdays at 10 a.m. in the Hall of Philosophy. The series will offer "Plain Dress in the Docket" with Steven Nolt on July 7; "Affirming a Theology of the Other" with Tom Maiello on July 21; and "Peacemaking Through Music" with Kevin Shorner-Johnson on Aug. 4.
Sunday worship services will begin at 10 a.m. at Mount Gretna Playhouse. The schedule is as follows: July 3, a gospel jazz service with the Rev. John Overman and an a capella gospel group; July 10, the Rev. Amy Shorner-Johnson and the Susquehanna Chorale Quartet; July 17, Rabbi Sam Yolen, soloist Christyan Seay, and accompanist Timothy Koch; July 24, A. Herbert Smith, soloist Amy Yovanovich, and pianist Jay Risser; July 31, the Rev. D. Darrell Woomer and Alden Keynotes Chorus; Aug. 7, the Rev. Kim Wadlington and vocalists Ann and Cris Dinsmore; Aug. 14, a community service at Chautauqua Playhouse with the Rev. Jean Alexander and The Eakin Trio; and Aug. 28, the Rev. Fred Opalinski and violinist Carl Iba; and Sept. 4, the Rev. Dr. George G. Kinney David Graff, marimba. No service will be held on Aug. 21 due to Art Show Weekend.

The events will feature Morgan Hobbs' "Belling the Cat and Other Impossible Missions" at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, July 4; Martha Armstong's "Tucson, Dummerston & COVID Still Lifes" at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6; Alix Bailey's "Influence and Intuition" at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, July 11; Mark Brosseau's "Painting Space: An Experiential Approach" at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13; Carrie Patterson's "Blinktracking: A Remembered Spatial Truth" at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, July 18; Ling Yi's "Sudden Strangeness - Paintings at Pandemic Time" at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20; Eric Holtzman's "Connecting to Spirit, Connecting to Form" at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, July 25; and Sam Kelly's "I Pack for a Long Trip" at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27. Mount Gretna School of Art Student Art Show will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 24.
