An art class for children of all ages will be offered on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at McKendree United Methodist Church (UMC), 3708 Delta Road, Airville. The project will be to create a snowman using glass yogurt containers, baby socks, ribbons, paints and other materials. The goal is to have the students experience art through the use of various kinds of materials and acrylic paint.
Students must pay a set fee and contribute one nonperishable food item for the Delta Community Services food pantry. All supplies and a light snack will be provided. McKendree is committed to the Safe Sanctuary policy of the Susquehanna Pennsylvania Conference of the UMC.
