Children's Easter Event Scheduled

Spoutwood Farm Center will host a breakfast with the Easter Bunny and the fourth annual Southern York County Bunny Trail and Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 6. The event will take place at Friendship Elementary School, 3457 Sticks Road, Glen Rock.

Breakfast will be available from 8 to 10 a.m. The menu will include all-you-can-eat pancakes with maple syrup and fruit topping and beverages. During the breakfast seating, children will be invited to visit with the Easter Bunny, participate in a special story time and meet Jaylyn Van Nice, York County Junior Miss Agriculture 2019.

Following breakfast, the community is invited to join the fourth annual Southern York County Bunny Trail and Egg Hunt, which is free. Activities will include Easter egg hunts, children's games, and an Easter Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Easter egg hunts will be split into three age categories and will begin at 11:30 a.m. Children from preschool through grade eight are invited to participate.

Preregistration is required for the egg hunts, and all participants should bring their own Easter baskets or bags for the hunt. At the conclusion of the egg hunt, children will be able to turn in their eggs and receive a special treat bag.

Tickets for breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be reduced for children ages 5 to 13. Children age 4 and under will be admitted for free. Individuals age 14 and older will pay full price. Due to limited capacity, reservations are requested. If space permits, walk-in guests will be accommodated.
