Relay For Life of Dillsburg will host its Chilifest and Salsa Competition on Sunday, Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at VFW - South Mountain Post 6771, 22 Franklin St., Dillsburg.
A variety of chilis and salsas will be available to taste, provided by local competitors. The event is open to the public to attend and participate in. There is a nominal requested donation, which can be paid at the door and a nominal requested donation to enter a chili or salsa. Participants may enter more than one chili or salsa. The top three chilis and top three salsas will win a prize. Prize drawing baskets will also be available.

Founded by Dr. Gordy Klatt in Tacoma, Wash., in 1985, Relay For Life events around the world have raised a total of nearly $6.5 billion to help ACS attack cancer. Monies raised help ACS fund and conduct breakthrough research and give cancer patients and their families the resources they need, like free rides to chemotherapy, free lodging near hospitals, and a live 24/7 helpline for answers and support. Last year's Relay For Life of Dillsburg raised more than $87,000.
