Families of Grace Covenant Church in Exton held a shoebox packing party at the church on Nov. 16. Their goal was to pack 100 shoeboxes with gifts of personal care items, craft items, school supplies, and toys for children around the world affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease, as well as for children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
Grace Covenant families participate annually in the outreach effort sponsored by Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan's Purse, an international relief organization whose mission aims to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities.
Grace Covenant Church is located in the Oaklands Corporate Center, 444 Creamery Way, Exton. For more information about the church or how to participate in the project in 2020, readers may visit http://www.gracecovenantepc.org.
