Chanceford Presbyterian Church, 1784 Woodbine Road, Airville, will host an outdoor community outreach line dance on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 10 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the church's social hall is still closed upon recommendation of the Presbytery.
The dance will take place at the upper church parking lot. Attendees should either park at the lower building and walk up or park in one of the grassy areas around the upper parking lot and church. Attendees should bring their own chairs to line the perimeter of the parking lot, making sure to comply with CDC standards.
The line dance is geared for local teenagers and families. Disc jockey Kenny will provide music and take requests. Beverages will be available for purchase, but no food will be sold for COVID-19 safety reasons. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the church grounds.
Parents should stay with their children instead of dropping them off, and children must stay at the upper church parking lot for safety reasons.
There will not be any inside access, and a portable toilet has been donated by Tome/Kauffman Septic.
