Donegal Presbyterian Church, 1891 Donegal Springs Road, Mount Joy, will hold a vespers service on Saturday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. to continue the church's celebration of its 300th anniversary. The meditative service will be based in the Celtic tradition and will recognize the spring's instrumental role in the history of the church and the settlement of the area. Harp music will be provided prior to the service. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Matthew D. Randolph, pastor of Donegal, and Michael Wills and will begin in the fellowship hall and move to the spring, which will be decorated.
All community members are welcome to attend. In the case of rain, the event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 17.
