Church Posts Tree, Wreath Sales

Nov 29, 2019 -

Guinston Presbyterian Church will partner with Old Forge Family Farm to sell Christmas trees and wreaths along with other goodies for the holiday season at the farm, 14130 Guinston Road, Airville.

Tree sales will begin on Friday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. The farm stand will be open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to dusk and on Sundays from noon to dusk each weekend through Sunday, Dec. 22.

Visitors may select a live tree from the hillside, or they may choose a pre-cut tree or a live balled tree. Those who would like to cut a live tree may take a wagon ride across the southern York County hillside to view the tree options and cut down their tree. Afterward, they may ride back to the barn and have their tree drilled, netted, and loaded. Wreaths or roping, along with other decorations, will also be available.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the church will sell Christmas crafts, baked goods and wreath and tree trimmings ,with all the proceeds benefiting the Guinston Building Fund. Hot chocolate and cider will be available, as well.

New this year, the women of the church have crafted tree skirts, which will be available for purchase.

A portion of the proceeds from trees and wreaths will go to the Guinston Building Fund. For more information, readers may contact Dave at 717-887-5077.
