During the season of Advent, three local congregations will combine for mid-week worship services, which will be held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.
St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 947 N. George St., York, will host the service on Dec. 4; St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 25 W. Springettsbury Ave., York, will host the service on Dec. 11; and Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 1907 Hollywood Drive, York, will host the service on Dec. 18.
Each week's service will have a distinctive character based on the host congregation, preacher and musical leadership. The pastors of the three churches have previously collaborated. This new venture aims to foster deeper relationships between three congregations.
