The Hellam Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at Saint James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 180 W. Market St., Hellam, on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 6:30 p.m. All are encouraged to attend and give thanks for the blessings in their lives.
The churches participating in the Community Thanksgiving Service are Faith United Methodist Church, Kreutz Creek Presbyterian Church, Saint James Evangelical Lutheran Church and Trinity United Church of Christ, all of Hellam. The Rev. Paul N. Frank Jr. of Saint James Evangelical Lutheran Church will give the message on "What Is Your Gratitude Level?"
Saint James Evangelical Lutheran Church has a new access ramp to its front doors. The ramp was Ryan Dellinger's Eagle Scout project, which he completed while battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
