The congregations of the Pleasant Water's United Methodist Charge invite the community to their scheduled Holy Week services beginning Sunday, April 5. The Charge is made up of two churches: Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 900 Pleasant Grove Road, Red Lion, and Water's Edge United Methodist Church, 471 Abels Road, Wrightsville. Sunday worship begins at 8:30 a.m. at Waters' Edge and at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Grove.
The April 5 Palm Sunday services will feature the message "A Day of Applause." On April 9, Holy Thursday worship at Pleasant Grove at 7 p.m. will include the Lord's Supper and the message "A Radical Act." Good Friday worship on April 10 at Water's Edge at 7 p.m. will feature the message "The Cry of Mystery." On Sunday, April 12, Easter dawn worship at Pleasant Grove at 6:30 a.m. will feature the message "The Earthquake of Easter," with the message "Jesus Is Risen: Now What?" to be given at Easter worship at both churches.
