CLC To Offer Activities

The Circle Legacy Center (CLC) will offer a variety of classes, demonstrations, and events celebrating the cultural traditions of Native Americans at Blue Rock Heritage Center, 2251 River Road, Washington Boro. Advance registration is required.

Eastern Woodland Games will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 10. There is a nominal fee to attend. For details and registration, contact Tina Mark at Conoyindian3@yahoo.com or 717-426-2166.

Porcupine Quillwork will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 24. Participants will have a choice of making a necklace or a pair of earrings. There is a fee to participate. For details and registration, contact MaryAnn Robins at maryannrobins@comcast.net or 717-435-5729.

Wild and Medicinal Edible Plants will be presented from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7. For details and registration, contact Mark.

Eastern Woodland Moccasins will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21. There is a fee to participate, which includes all supplies. For details and registration, contact Robins.

The CLC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and empowering Native Americans. It offers a variety of cultural events and community projects, along with business assistance.
