Cleanup Held In Campbelltown

Campbelltown Community Alliance (CCA) hosted a community cleanup in the village of Campbelltown on April 17. Over 100 volunteers gathered, including Lebanon County Commissioner Bill Ames and his wife, Josie; several members of CCA; Girl Scout troops 70430, 71518, and 70549; Palmyra Area High School Key Club; Rising Sun employees; and other members of the community.

The event started at the South Londonderry Township Building, where helpers received gloves, bags, and safety vests donated by PennDOT. Light refreshments were served as volunteers socialized with one another.

After the event, CCA received feedback from volunteers who said they would like to help out again next year. One of the Girl Scouts even asked if she could pick up garbage again the next day.
