Anyone participating in Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful's Great American Cleanup of PA is reminded to submit an entry in the video contest. To enter, participants should send Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful a 60-second video of their Great American Cleanup of PA event showing individuals, groups, children, and adults having fun making their community clean, beautiful, and vibrant. Participants should be sure to mention the Great American Cleanup of PA in the video.
The video contest aims to offer a fun and interactive way to gain recognition, build support for local programs, and thank all the volunteers and sponsors who helped make the Great American Cleanup of PA event a success.
Cash prizes, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Waste Industries Association, will be awarded for the winning entry and for two runners-up. The deadline to submit a video is Friday, June 7.
The public may help choose the winners by liking their favorite video on the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Facebook page. Voting will begin on Monday, June 17, and conclude on Wednesday, June 26, at 3 p.m. Contest details are available at http://gacofpa.org/video-contest/.
