Guinston Evangelical Presbyterian Church will hold an indoor/outdoor end of summer clearance yard sale on Saturday, Aug. 29. The expanded collection of items will be displayed on the lawn and inside the Chanceford Community Building, 51 Muddy Creek Forks Road, Brogue, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine.
A wide range of items will be available including small appliances, jewelry, collectibles, furniture, books, and more. Clothing in all sizes for children and adults will also be available.
The kitchen will serve covered takeout food only. Limited seating will be available to eat lunch while following CDC guidelines. Hot soups, sandwiches, a large variety of pies and other baked goods, and more will be on the menu.
All proceeds will support local missions. Future yard sales are planned for Saturdays, Oct. 3 and 24. The church is seeking vendors for the Guinston Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 21, and interested vendors may contact Ralene Miller at 717-927-6573 or Linda Jordan at 717-246-6202.
