The Historic Ephrata Cloister, 632 W. Main St., Ephrata, will welcome the holiday season with its 54th annual Christmas at the Cloister musical program on Monday, Dec. 9, and Tuesday, Dec. 10. The program will be held twice each night at 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Held in the original 1741 Saal, or Meetinghouse, the program will be in a lessons and carols style and will combine the Christmas story with seasonal music, including carols. The program will feature the talents of the Ephrata Cloister Chorus. This year's guest musician will be harpsichordist Faith Martin of Ephrata. Following the program, participants are invited to enjoy mulled cider and cookies in the Visitor Center.
