Lunch Bunch, an activity started by Lancaster Newcomers & Neighbors, is now back after its hiatus due to COVID. Every month, the lunch group visits a different area restaurant for lunch and often adds on an exploration of neighboring points of interest. In July, Lunch Bunch members traveled to the Tidewater Grill in Havre de Grace, Md. After the meal, they walked on the Promenade and visited Bomboy's Candy.
The August activity will be lunch at the Village Haus Restaurant, Bar and Grill, 2 N. Market St., Reinholds, in Stoudtburg Village. Reservations for this exploration of German-American cuisine are required by Monday, Aug. 23, by contacting Newcomers & Neighbors president Dottie Yuska at 717-464-4356.
Newcomers & Neighbors was founded in the 1990s to extend a friendly and neighborly helping hand to new and longer-term residents of Lancaster County.
