Coalition Will Host Presentation

The Suicide Prevention Coalition, a program of Mental Health America of Lancaster County, will host a free community meeting for educators, parents, professionals, and anyone interested in learning the laws and facts about posting online and cyber-related crimes. The program will be held on Thursday, July 25, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Blair Room in the Community Services Building, 630 Janet Ave., Lancaster.

Sarah Fritz, community outreach coordinator for the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office, will present. The program will include a brief overview of the laws that cover cyber-related crimes, specifically regarding image sharing and more. Fritz will share information about several social media platforms and ways that people young and old can safely engage with them.

No registration is needed, children and adults are welcome, and attendees may bring a lunch.
