College Library Hosts Exhibit

The High Library at Elizabethtown College, 1 Alpha Drive, Elizabethtown, is currently hosting an interactive exhibit on "A Decade of Service: The Teachers for West Africa Program, 1962-1972." The exhibit explores the history of the Teachers for West Africa Program (TWAP), a joint partnership between the college and the Hershey Corporation that sent more than 250 American teachers to Ghana and Nigeria. The exhibit features materials from the Hess Archives as well as a podcast and digital archive created by students.

The college's Center for Global Understanding and Peacemaking will also host a presentation by former TWAP teachers Quimby and Milosh Mamula on Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Young Center.
