Community Calendar

The Community Calendar is a weekly feature of the Community Courier.

Local clubs, civic organizations, nonprofit agencies, schools, etc., that would like to have events or meeting date information published, should contact the Community Courier in writing at least two weeks before the event. Support Group

Kacie's Cause, Parkesburg Chapter, will offer a support group for friends and family of addicted loved ones on Wednesday, Oct. 28 (and every Wednesday), at 7 p.m. in the chapel at The Parkesburg POINT youth center, 700 Main St., Parkesburg. Coffee And Conversation

Wesley United Methodist Church, 40 W. Main St., Strasburg, will host Coffee and Conversation on the church's front lawn every Saturday in October, November and December. Free coffee and snacks will be available from 8 to 11 a.m.

In the case of inclement weather, the gathering will be held in the church lobby.

Trunk Or Treat

The Christiania Police Department will present its second annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Christiana Borough building, 10 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana. Children are invited to attend and dress in costume. Social distancing guidelines will be followed.

Volunteers are needed to decorate trunks. Those who would like to take part may contact officer James Mains at mainsjam@christianapd.org.

Worship Night

Pequea E.C. Church, 5482 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, will host an Election Eve Prayer and Worship Night on Monday, Nov. 2, at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of this event is not to endorse a political candidate or party, but to bring people together for an evening of prayer, worship, and a message by pastor Phil Walck of Mount Airy Church.

Soup Sale

Oxford United Methodist Church, located and the corner of Market and Addison streets in Oxford, will hold a soup sale on Saturday, Nov. 7, featuring homemade vegetable beef and chicken corn soup. Soup will be sold by the quart; containers will be provided. Call 610-932-0513 to order.

Performance At Church

Piercing Word Inc. will perform "The One Story" on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 10:45 a.m. at WordUP Community Church, located in the Dutchland Corporate Center, 160 Route 41, Gap. The community is welcome. For more information, call 610-864-5458.
