The Community Calendar is a weekly feature of the Community Courier.
Local clubs, civic organizations, nonprofit agencies, schools, etc., that would like to have events or meeting date information published, should contact the Community Courier in writing at least two weeks before the event. No items will be accepted over the phone.

Fish Fry
A Lenten Fish Fry will be held at the Honey Brook Lions Club Community Center, 14 Mount Pleasant Road, Honey Brook, every Friday between 4 and 7 p.m. during Lent. Fish Fry dates will be March 5, 12, 19 and 26; and April 2.
Each fish fry dinner will include a six-ounce haddock filet, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes and cornbread. Additional of each item can be purchased. The meal will be takeout only.

Hikes
The Berks Community Strollers will hike at Laurel Run Park on Moll Avenue in Reading on Saturday, March 6, at 10 a.m. More details, including directions, are available by contacting Deanna, the hike leader, at 610-929-3109.

Enrollment Event
The Coatesville Veteran's Affairs (VA) Medical Center will host a health care enrollment event for veterans on Saturday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to noon. Veterans will have the opportunity to enroll for health care on-the-spot through the VA and are encouraged to bring a copy of their DD-214 if available.
To speed up the enrollment process, veterans can download the application in advance and bring a printed and completed copy with them to the event. The application is available at https://www.va.gov/health-care/apply/application/introduction.
The enrollment event will be hosted in the waiting room of building 3 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, located at 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville. Those attending will need to use the veteran's entrance at Georgia Avenue on Blackhorse Hill Road near parking lot D and look for the entrance to the Urgent Care Center. Boone Area Library in Birdsboro will offer Zoom story time on Mondays in March at 10:15 a.m. The following programs will be featured: March 8, "Green"; March 15, "Rainbows"; March 22, "Spring" and March 29, "Bunnies." Neighbors Meeting
Neighbors Caring and Sharing, a Christian women's group that meets weekly at Conestoga Mennonite Church in Morgantown, will meet on Tuesday, March 9, from 9:15 to 11 a.m. The group will view part six of seven of the DVD series, "Armor of God," a study series by Priscilla Shirer. The topic will be "The Helmet of Salvation."
