Elizabethtown Area School District will host a community open house at the Elizabethtown Area Middle School, 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown, on Tuesday, Nov. 23, to highlight the newly renovated lower level of the middle school. There will be no formal program at this event. Instead, visitors may drop by at a time convenient to them from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
The renovation added nine classrooms, a collaborative learning space, and a fitness center. As part of the open house, visitors can take a self-guided tour of the lower level with the help of current middle school students. In addition, David Beard, middle school principal, and Joshua Schaffer, assistant principal, will be on hand to answer questions.
