The Chester County Board of Commissioners, through the Chester County Solid Waste Authority, will offer free Certified Master Composting Classes on Thursdays, March 7, 14, and 21. Classes will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the second-floor Struble Room at the Chester County Library, 450 Exton Square Parkway, Exton. Classes will end at 8:30 p.m. Attendance all three weeks is required to become certified.
Trainees will learn how to compost, how to construct various compost bins, how to grasscycle and leafcycle, and how to reduce food waste by vermicomposting. To register or for more information, call 484-796-4041.
