Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf moved York County to the yellow phase of recovery, effective May 22. This is a step toward reopening York County's economy amid the COVID-19 crisis.
This phase of recovery means the stay-at-home order is lifted in York County; large gatherings of more than 25 individuals is prohibited; all businesses reopening must follow social distancing and additional guidelines; in-person retail operations are permitted, with curbside service and delivery preferable; restaurants and bars are limited to carry-out and delivery only; child care is open, complying with guidance; telework must continue where feasible; congregate care and prison restrictions remain in place; schools remain closed for in-person instruction; indoor recreation, health and wellness facilities, and personal care services remain closed; gyms, spas, hair salons, nail salons, and other entities providing massage therapy remain closed; and entertainment venues, such as casinos and theaters, remain closed.
