Community members are invited to shop for unique, handmade items at Elizabethtown Public Library's Craft Fair With a Small Business Flair, to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14. The fair, to take place at the library, 10 S. Market St., Elizabethtown, will showcase local handcrafters and small business owners selling quality crafts, repurposed vintage wares, home goods and decor, and more. Shoppers will have the opportunity to support small local businesses and the library through their purchases.
More than 30 vendors will sell a range of handmade goods, including fused glass jewelry, Ecuadorian alpaca-fleece scarves, doll clothes, soaps and lotions, confectionary candles, paper crafts, essential oils, and Christmas ornaments. A children's craft area will be available.
Fair attendees will also have the opportunity to win door prizes provided by the vendors. Each vendor will provide a prize, which will be displayed at each table. Attendees will receive tickets at the door and may drop the tickets in the container at the vendor table of their choosing. Shoppers may earn more prize tickets as they make purchases. The drawing will be held at the close of the fair.
Additionally, the Friends of the Library's book sale, featuring gently used books. will hold Bonus Sale Days during the fair. The book sale will be held in the lower level of the library.
A variety of food options will be available. The Coffee Company will be open and offering coffee beverages, tea, and more. The feature beverages for the month are Busy Bee Latte, Apple Cake Chai, and James and the Giant Peach Smoothie. The Friends Cafe will be open and offer soups, hot dogs, and beverages for purchase.
