Penn State Extension Lancaster 4-H will offer a Creative Arts program this fall. Sessions will be held in the training room at the Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster, on Saturdays, Sept. 21, Oct. 12, Nov. 9, and Dec. 14. Participants do not need to be 4-H members. There is a fee for each session.
Creative Arts will be offered to children age 8 and up as of Jan. 1, 2019. The classes will offer an opportunity for participants to express themselves through the creative arts. Classes will run from 10 a.m. to noon. Parents and guardians should plan on staying on-site with their child the duration of the program. The class builds on concepts and projects from the 4-H Sketchbook Crossroads and Get Started in Art curricula. In chronological order, the classes will be "Clay Masks," "Who I Am," "Figures," and "Off The Grid."
