Solanco High School junior Brandon Daniel-Morales has received a prestigious Lenfest Scholarship, which is in the amount of $8,000 to $12,000 per year for four years. Scholarships are based on a student's ambition to succeed at a challenging college or university, academic achievement and potential, commitment to service, leadership qualities, and financial need.
Additionally, Brandon was nominated by the Lenfest committee and accepted for a Franklin & Marshall college prep program. The three-week program will allow him to take college classes. For his participation, he is slated to receive $500.
Brandon's brother Angel won the award last year. Angel was Solanco's first-ever recipient of a Lenfest Scholarship.
