Dauphin County Medical Society Alliance (DCMSA) will sponsor a "Trailblazing Women, Trailblazing Style" event on Tuesday, May 4, at 11 a.m. Proceeds will support DCMSA's community health and education projects for the coming year.
The keynote speaker will be Kathleen McGraw, director of communications and corporate social responsibility at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company, where she manages corporate philanthropy, community relations, internal and employee communications, and reputation management. She will speak on "Trailblazing Women Through the Decades."
The event will also include fashion notes from The Plum, Simply J, and Mountz Jewelers, as well as door prizes. Alicia Richards from ABC27 will be the master of ceremonies. ESTEEM (Penn State Health Cosmetic Associates) will provide swag bags for all participants and a grand prize of a "Forever Young" treatment.

DCMSA is a nonprofit organization whose members come from physician families living throughout central Pennsylvania. Projects focus on community health needs and science and medical education initiatives in Cumberland and Dauphin counties. DCMSA provides an annual scholarship to a medical student attending a Pennsylvania school, science awards at area elementary and secondary schools, and support for clinics, food pantries, and similar services for underserved populations, made possible through small grants and outreach projects.
The organization's spring project will support Shalom House, which provides housing and services for homeless women and their children in the Harrisburg area. The spring project will provide needed household supplies for families to transition to housing. Needed items are toilet paper, paper towels, disinfectant wipes, new towels, and new pillows.
