Dellinger Selected To Lead Campaign

United Way of York County has announced the campaign chair for the 2019 annual fundraising campaign is Elizabeth Dellinger, director of treasury management at York Traditions Bank.

In her role, Dellinger will lead the Campaign Cabinet, a group of community leaders who devote their time and energy to building relationships with local companies and encourage these companies to lead the way and give back through a United Way campaign. With the community's support, United Way of York County aims to raise $6,425,000 through the campaign.

Dellinger is active in the community as the past president of YWCA York and chairperson of the SpiriTrust Lutheran Foundation board. She serves on the York County Community Foundation board and the Penn State York and Salvation Army of York advisory boards. Dellinger has offered her leadership to the boards of many other organizations, including Leadership York, Lutheran Social Services, Penn Laurel Girl Scout Council, the York County Chamber of Commerce, Main Street York, and the York Jaycees.

Dellinger has nearly 30 years of banking experience, having joined York Traditions Bank 10 years ago. She works with area businesses of all sizes to develop, deliver, and provide support for treasury management products and services. She has received numerous sales and customer service awards throughout her banking career and has also been recognized for her community involvement and participation in professional development activities as well as her influence on women and young business leaders. Her honors include the York County Economic Alliance Ignite Award and ATHENA Award, Leadership York's distinguished Alumnus Award, and, most recently, the Central Penn Business Journal's Women of Influence Award.

Dellinger resides in York with her 10-year-old daughter.

Through United Way of York County's campaign, each year, more than 300 companies and organizations across York County pull together to give back in order to build a stronger, caring community. According to the United Way, one in three people in York County is directly impacted by United Way-funded programs.
