Fairmount held its last event for Dementia Awareness Month on Nov. 26.
Throughout the day of the event, individuals were invited to stop by the chapel to purchase sky lanterns and write a loved one's name or a memory on their purchased lantern. Individuals could also prepurchase lanterns.
Participants then met at the Wheat Ridge Chapel in the evening to release the lanterns.
