Silver Spurs Cowboy Church will host a spaghetti dinner and silent auction from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Chanceford Community Center in Brogue. The center is located next to the former Chanceford Elementary School, 33 Muddy Creek Forks Road. This is a fundraising event to support two members of the Cowboy Church family - Patsy Blymire and Mary "Eunice" Neeper Krick, whose husband, Ellwood, passed away last month.
The silent auction will begin at 3 p.m., and winners will be announced at 5 p.m. Cash or checks will be accepted as payment for auction items, and donations are welcome. The dinner will include garlic bread, side salad, fruit, dessert and beverages.
A ticket price has been set for adults and children over 12. Tickets may be purchased by emailing silverspurscowboychurch@gmail.com or by visiting http://paypal.me/silverspurscowboy. They will also be available at the door.
